Great spot to work remote and support a cool business model First impression: it looked like a small hole in the wall of a shopping strip mall, but it's large and open inside! I was greeted with a big warm smile from Shannon and with a cute little joke I found out she and her husband, David, who was making drinks next to her, are the owners. With a great deal of pride, she explained the concept of Beanchain to me. They opened about a year ago as a worker-directed (co-op) business plan. The idea is to help workers out of poverty by giving them ownership, a say, and profit sharing. This is the only location so far, but I hope to see great things in their future. My pumpkin chai, with a shot of espresso, was delicious and warmed me to my core. The avocado croissant was simple and yet so good. My taste buds were dancing with the combo of earthy avocado, juicy tomato, and the sweet balsamic glaze. I enjoyed the comfy couches and coffee table near the book shelves, but there were many tables and booths throughout the space. Each seat has a power outlet and QR code to order without stepping away from your laptop. A 330sq ft conference room is open for a group to rent. Through another door is a quiet space with individual workspaces, but the whole area can also be rented by the hour as well as three private offices for rent. Shelves and tables are filled with items for sale by local artisans, and there's even a small tattoo studio in one of the back office spaces. I live 30 minutes away and came to check out out thanks to a YELP Elite Squad event. On the drive, I was thinking, what a long drive to try out a place I'll never return to. As soon as I was interacting with Shannon I knew this was a place that I would drive back to and support again.

Beanchain Coffee was such a great spot. Everything about this place was amazing from the moment we got there. The atmosphere was super cozy, clean, and welcoming, making it a really nice place to relax and enjoy your time. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and gave great service the whole time. The coffee was really good, fresh, flavorful, and made well. You can tell they care about quality. The food was also excellent and came out tasting fresh and delicious. Everything we tried was worth it. What really stood out was how well-rounded the whole experience was. Great food, great coffee, great service, and a really nice environment. Definitely one of those places you want to come back to again. Highly recommend Beanchain Coffee if you’re looking for a chill cafe with quality drinks and food.

I love coming here to work or study. One of the most spacious and laid back places, and if you really want to focus they have a workplace in the back. Their signature french toast latte is amazing and my go to. More importantly I love what the owners are doing for the community and workforce. They have a 'pay it forward' program to help feed someone who may be going through a tough time and needs a meal or drink. The owner is building software to get this program throughout the world as well. What an amazing mission! I saw it work first hand. THANK YOU BEANCHAIN!

If I could rate this place 11/10 I would, times 500. Their holistic approach is one of a kind. The atmosphere at the coffee shop is very welcoming, friendly and safe. The owners of the cafe are so kind. There is a lot of workspace. Their BORING sandwich and breakfast burrito are delicious! The blended honey latte was recommended by the owner and thats all I've ever order since! I tell them that my name is Monika but its actually Eirra!

I literally ate the best sandwich I have purchased at any restaurant. The Boring Sandwich on crescent bread was anything but boring. The chips must be made in house and they were scrumptious. Usually, I would get a water at a place like this. I'm definitely not a coffee drinker and usually can't find anything I would like to try. However, everything smelled so good, I decided to order something. I can't remember the exact name or ingredients of the cold beverage I ordered, but it was delicious.

First time coming in, love the mission, the picnic sandwich was amazeballs, and the service is so friendly! They apparently also have an in-house tattoo artist/kind of shop room attached, which is very cool, and the the place is huge! A ton of yummy options to choose from, my husband felt like the cold brew was a little on the unflavorful side, but thinks he would have enjoyed it more if there had have been cream or perhaps flavoring to bring out the flavor more (he got just a plain cold brew because he's fasting today) and I got the raspberry pomegranate iced tea, which was yummy, but I do think for more than 12 oz (comes in 16 and 20/24oz), there should probably be more than 1 tea bag, because it was pretty diluted, and would have been really nice with a bit of honey, but it was still enjoyable none-the-less could have been better, but it was still fine. The sandwich though... *drool* got it on the croissant bread which was the best choice cause omg that was SO good!!! We'll definitely be back when hubby isn't fasting, and we dont have the dogs, so we can hang out inside! I feel like it would be a fun place to get stuff and bring some card/board games!

Today I saw something truly incredible here. Yes, the coffee is great, but the people are even better. I came in this morning to study and witnessed the team showing immense kindness and respect to members of their community. Without going into details, it genuinely made me stop and reflect on how I can do more to help others too. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves amazing coffee, but also leaves you inspired. This shop deserves all the support in the world!

Got the avocado toast & peach cobbler latte. Both were amazing! The latte was honestly the best I’ve had here in AZ. I’ll definitely be back!

When browsing through coffee shops that were relatively close to my house, one of my closest friends recommended Beanchain Coffee, as it is also not too far from where he lives as well. I am glad that I took his recommendation, as Beanchain is among my favorite coffee places in Arizona. The first time I went there, I had a cold brew and a breakfast sandwich. Not only did the cold brew have a nice bold taste to it, but the breakfast sandwich was delicious as well. I also appreciated that the breakfast sandwich came with potato chips on the side. I have also had their danishes and their cinnamon croissants, and they were fantastic. I also appreciate the friendly staff. They offer recommendations if you are unsure of what to get. Next time I visit, I will make sure to give one of their signature lattes a shot. The last time I visited, I wrote on my laptop. I like that they have areas where you can plug in your laptop and work on it, or simply read a book in a quiet corner. The atmosphere is a great place to relax or get some work done on your laptop. Beanchain Coffee is an excellent option in the Mesa area, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee shop in the area.

Recently went here 5 days in a row on my vacation. What an incredible place. The employees here make the environment so calming. Just incredible service everyday. Cannot name just one person, everyone day in and day out was awesome. Highly recomment this place to ant and all. It is on the pricey side so bring your wallets! I tried the entire food menu everytbing was wonderful.
